Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian: Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia) is a government ministry which oversees the foreign affairs of Indonesia. The ministry is formerly known as the Department of Foreign Affairs (Departemen Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia, better known as Deplu). The name changing due to the new law about State Ministry (UU 39/2008). The ministry is one of the ministry that stated in the Constitution of Indonesia, so the president has no authorities to dismiss this ministry, compared to other ministries unregistered in the Constitution of Indonesia. Currently, Marty Natalegawa, served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
